powdered enamels are applied to hand cut copper shapes and fired in a kiln at 1450 degrees. design elements in silver cloisonne wire are added and several successive layers of color are added and fired, the final piece is sanded smooth, beeswax buffed to protect the enamel. earrings measure 1 1/2” x 3/4” sterling ear wires
